These units come complete and ready to work with hydraulic hoses/couplers, standard skid steer quick-tach plate, 300 feet of 5/8 IPS wire rope with self-locking swivel hook. This unit includes the optional anchor blade which greatly im
proves the anchor ability of the winch skid. As pictured at blade level in soft turf, the blade has been proven to provide 38,000 pounds of resistance as verified with load cell reading of 12,800 pounds on one part of a three part line. The winch has a manual release and a roller tensioner. The winch is operated using the controls inside the skid steer safely behind the steel safety shield. This attachment is designed to be used on a medium to large tracked skid steer for optimum performance. The winch skid needs to be attached to the main lifting boom to protect the tilt cylinders and to provide a rigid winching platform. This can be done in several ways depending on your skid steer and preferences. Chains or synthetic rigging work well. The turnbuckles pictured are not included and would require anchor points to be permanently welded to the skid steer.
The amount of winching power that these winch skids can generate is "Unbelievable". With the proper rigging and use of additional anchors, or "deadman" the winch skid can achieve pulling forces in excess of 100,000 pounds (10 part line).

Embedded deep in the frame work lies a 30,000 lb. Warn planetary winch assembly with a hydraulic motor that is designed to match the flow of an appropriate sized skid steer. Using a wide-drum winch allows for winch drum layers to have consistent and even pull throughout the 300" length of 5/8 cable. One piece MACHINED pulleys slide on large shafts that allow the cable to spool consistently and correctly. A hydraulic pressure gauge is now standard equipment. Now the operator knows exactly how much force is being applied to the winch line to prevent overloading of the winch, line or rigging.
The framework of each skid is cut with CNC laser tables, and each is built within precision tolerances. The robust steel structure is built heavy enough to withstand the loads imposed on it. Multiple D-rings are in place to allow for multiple points of rigging attachment as well as placement for snatch blocks to decrease line loads when necessary.

This warranty is void if the product is misused, altered, tampered with or is installed or used in a manner that is inconsistent with OTT's written recommendations, specifications and/or instructions, or fails to perform due to normal wear and tear.
