William B. Kerr & Co. trophy/loving cup with three very ornate handles. Engraved on two sides. One side has “For J & YG”. Another side has the dates “1878 - March 26 - 1802” & “J & BG”. Seems to be a gift commemorating someone’s life span. I purchased it from the a Montana man, it belonged to his family before him. William B Kerr & Co. began operation in NJ in 1855. The firm produced high end silver goods for people of means. This small cup has little dents around the base. If you like your silver shiny it could certainly use a good polishing. I like the look of tarnished silver so I’ve left it as is. It’s otherwise in good antique condition. Could be used today as a pen/pencil holder, toothpick holder, toothbrush cup, or many other things. It weighs just shy of 50 grams and is about 2.5” tall. I’ll ship FREE, ASAP! Thanks
