The following is an excerpt about the race from the New York Times on July 6, 1975.
Katonka defeated the best 3‐year‐old fillies in the West today in capturing the 24th running of the ,650 Honeymoon Handicap on grass at Hollywood Park.
Katonka posted her fifth straight triumph since her first race on turf in April.
She trailed the field of nine to the second turn of the 1 1/16‐mile test, had to check repeatedly and made a tremendous closing rush on the outside to win by 3¼ lengths. Her time of 1:42 1/5 tied the stakes record set last year by Bed knob.
In pretty nice shape as the pics show with some minor
surface wear and it comes exactly as shown. It measures 3 1/2" in diameter at the top, the base is 3" in diameter and it is 3" tall. It weighs 6.2 ounces / 175 grams.
