    Product Description
An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver Art Nouveau, tyg style presentation cup / bottle holder; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection.
This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver tyg* style presentation cup has a plain bell shaped form onto a circular spreading foot.
The body of this antique tyg cup is plain and unembellished.
This impressive cup is fitted with three cast scrolling handles incorporating organic lobed thumbpieces and bifurcating lower terminals, ornamented with Art Nouveau motifs.
This exceptional cup was crafted by George Maudsley Jackson and David Landsborough Fullerton of Josiah Williams & Co.
    * A tyg is a large English mug/drinking vessel with three or more handles. The mug was made to be shared, and handed round between several drinkers.
    Condition
This antique sterling silver tyg cup is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the cup are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silverware.
