    Height about 2 1/4 diameter 2 3/4. Rough Weight 3 oz.
    Now the fun stuff. This is based on the markings and research I did. Engraved The Springfield Boiler & Mfg. Co. To Zeta. Marked with the Watrous Manufacturing stamp.
    Springfield Boiler Mfg. received the contract by the Mississippi River Commission to build the hulls of several dredges on the Mississippi river including the Zeta in 1896. Watrous Mfg. made silver products starting in 1896 to present. Now this is interesting according to available information Watrous Mfg. made primarily silver plate until 1920s then changed to sterling. This cup is clearly marked sterling 42 with there mark and the engraving places it around 1896. I am not sure why a cup is presented to a dredge (Zeta) but it clearly had to be special order.
    I have no further information and no Idea how many may have been made or the exact time.
