Restored WHEELER & WILSON Sewing Machine Parts Box with Original Hardware.

Description

Antique solid oak Wheeler & Wilson Sewing Machines parts storage box. This type of W&W box came after the embossed ones. It's the same size and features the same type of locking mechanism. Box was refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand-polished to a soft luster using 0000 steel wool and pastewax.
Box measures 8 5/8" long x 3 1/8" deep and 2 1/2" tall. Inside measurements are 8 1/8" long" wide x 2 5/8" deep and 2" tall.
Constructed of 1/4" solid oak and assembled using fingerjoints. Original burgundy velvet lining.t. Hardware including hinges and push button latch in good working order. This is beautiful one-of-a-kind item that any collector would prize. Some very minor marks from age and use. Shipping weight approximately 1 1/2 pounds. No reserve!
