In order to obtain a map update for your Toyota-Lexus you have
to prepare USB stick at least 32GB.
Format the USB flash drive in FAT32 and the data must be written to a Windows PC.
Necessary:
Download the update (I'll send you the link) and extract the data (according the instruction manual).
You must have an installed archiver program and be able to use it!
Need the photo of your device ID to prepare the activation/update code
(
Making the code within 5-10 minutes if the request via online messengers
).
If the request is not online the process may take several hours or throughout the day.
The code is issued in 2 stages:
1. After the purchase, the data in the archive is sent to you. Which you need to unpack and burn to a USB flash drive, according to the instructions attached to the link.
2. After you insert the USB flash drive into the car and go to the map update menu, you will be asked to enter an 8-digit license code. You should send such a photo, with this action, you confirm that you correctly unpacked and recorded the data on the USB flash drive. After you send a photo with a request for a code and confirm that you correctly unpacked and recorded the data on the USB flash drive, you will receive an answer with your license code for update.
Next you’ll have to insert the flash drive into your car’s USB port and enter activation/update code, go through all the steps at display and wait till the update is finished!
