    Description

    We are pleased to present a mid-century sterling silver wine glass, 4.75" tall, with a figural stem in the shape of a trunk, with the branches and leaved supporting the cup. At its base, are a faun peeking around a tree at a nude female dryad or woman. Weight is 7.93-ozt (246-grams). The base is marked Sterling, 925, Made in Italy, and 441 MI, which I believe is Boggiali in Milan. It shows general light wear, some scuffs and tarnish. There are a few, barely-perceptible indentations to the cup which I can feel more with my fingers on the inside of the cup, than see with my eyes on the outside of the cup. Overall, a wonderful piece.
