    I have displayed this sewing basket for many years. It is the only one I have that is painted. I love it, but I need to downsize. It is unraveling as you can see in the photos. I don’t know if the sewing on the rim of the lid is a finishing technique or an old repair. It displays nicely and has not continued to deteriorate. I just wouldn’t fill it up and carry it around for use. Basket measures approx. 6” in diameter, and the top approx 8 1/2” in diameter. Ours is a smoke free home. If I can send Priority cheaper than the flat rate I will and refund the unused postage.
