    Description

This is a lovely Antique Terracotta Lopburi Period Buddha Mold / Votive from Thailand.  This particular item was purchased in Bangkok in the early 1970's by my father who operated a Southeast Asian Antique shop in Penang, Malaysia at that time.  This clay item is in good condition & beautifully shows its age.  I have not seen any examples of this Votive type and would consider it to be fairly rare.  The item clearly shows the influence of the Khmer due to the area’s close proximity to Cambodia .  I would estimate the mold / votive is quite old & dates from as early as the 14th Century.
Please refer to all pictures for the overall condition of this Mold / Votive
Mold / Votive Dimensions: 5 1/2 inches high, 2 3/4 inches wide, 7/8 of an inch in Depth.  Weight: 8 Ounces (226.8 grams)
