it is very hard for us to date and describe this statue, we are not specialists - please do judge for yourself age and origin by having a close look at the pictures,
but we think this is:
a small, authentic antique,
circa 18th century
, bronze statue of a Hindu deity
made in India,
by cire perdue / lost wax or sand casting
it represents:
Hanuman
standing in Wai position - hands together in front greeting
with his tail resting, curled all over his head
he is modeled standing on a pedestal or throne
the overall decoration has much detail
height: 6 cm / circa 2.3 inch - weight: 66 gr.
condition: very good, authentic wear - due to handling, touching and rubbing it for many many years
no missing parts, no cracks, no restoration
