Description

Antique sterling silver baby cup/mug. It is engraved on the bottom as "Towle Sterling 10792". It weighs 57.4 grams. The outside and the upper part of the inside has a nearly black patina however, the bottom is shiny as well as part-way up the inside. It will come to your as pictured. There are 3 or 4 very small, shallow dents around the outside. The lovely little mug or cup is a 1/2-cup or 4-ounce size. It was most likely given as a gift for a new born. It is engraved with the initials "G.R.F." and dated "2-12-69". It has a very nice design with a taper about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom, then a larger bulb style shape that is followed by a fluted rim. A very nice piece. Excellent pre owned collectible.
