On offer is this English sterling silver trophy loving cup bearing the hallmarks  for  Birmingham 1927  and the makers mark of William Neale and Sons Ltd.  The trophy loving cup  is of very good  size and weight . The overall height is  19 " , the silver height is 14.7 " , the diameters are , plinth  base ,  8 " ,  cup base 5.6 " , cup top 7.5  " and the handle width is 12  " . This very large and impressive piece of English
sterling silver stands on its original black stained wood plinth. The trophy cup has a deep , wide cup body with an everted rim for greater strength. The stem is short and flows down to a spread base with an upright rim. The impressive handles are of classical C scroll design with acanthus leaf cappings and lower fixings. This trophy displays well and will make a most emphatic statement  on presentation.
There is no  inscription on this trophy loving cup  , so you can display it as it is or have your own dedication inscribed thereon.
The whole is in EXCELLENT CONDITION and is beautifully polished ready to go on display.
For your guidance , I use the words " EXCELLENT CONDITION " only if it is ........., " GOOD CONDITION " to indicate that there are no serious condition problems , but that there may be surface blemishes such as light discolouration , minor dings , dents or scratches commensurate with the age of the piece..............
