On offer is this elegant , stylish antique  English sterling silver  trophy  loving cup and cover bearing the hallmarks  for  London 1903   and the makers mark of  the celebrated  Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company  .    The trophy loving cup and cover is of good size and  weight .  The overall height is  14  " , the diameters are , base ,  5.5  " , cup top  8  " and the handle width is   12.1  " . The  weight is  1676  grams ,  53.8   troy ounces.
The design is  absolutely  wonderful   , the whole a pleasure to behold. This is so elegant ! An outstanding piece of design and workmanship The large cover finial is in the form of a flower bud rising from its calyx. The cover then sweeps gently down to fit snugly inside the cup bowl top. The bowl is shallow , wide and immensely stylish . It supports an excellent pair graceful handles , their tops each in the form of a pair of  stylised leaves. The cup bowl sits atop a most elegant , tall , tapering stem sweeping down to the landed spread base. There are no inscriptions on this piece , so it is ready for your presentation.
