Hello, up for sale is a rare antique 19c. tunbridge ware small trinket /sewing box. Rectangular with a hinged arched lid. It is made from a mixture of birds-eye-maple and rosewood. It has a moth/butterfly tunbridge inlay on the lid. Has a lock, the key is missing. Attributed to Edmund Nye or Thomas Barton.
Measures: 4 1/2'' x 2 3/4'' x 2''
Condition: It is very good to excellent preserved for its age. Missing key.
