    at the Biltmore in Los Angeles.
    John McGroarty wrote many books about California.  James Rolph, the governor of California, and John C. Porter, the mayor of Los Angeles, were named among those giving brief appreciations.
    Very decent condition for its age.  The program is tanned except for one section that was covered and the lower edge has a few tiny tears.  The small attached picture on the upper left of the front is worn.   Two names are handwritten on the inside edge of the interior front, as shown in the last picture.
